About this SQLite to CSV converter
SQLite databases store everything in a single portable file, which makes them easy to carry around but hard to peek into without the right software. This tool opens that file directly in your browser using a real SQLite engine, so you can explore it, query it and pull data out as CSV without installing a database client or sending the file to a server.
See the schema at a glance
As soon as a database loads, every table is listed with one click to inspect it, and each column shows its exact declared type — so you know what you're working with before you export a single row.
Preview before you export
Each table shows a live preview of its first 20 rows in a scrollable grid, letting you confirm it's the right data before committing to a full export.
A real SQL console
Beyond browsing tables, you can run any SQL against the database — filters, joins, aggregates — and export just the result set as CSV instead of an entire table.
Export one table or all of them
Download a single table as a clean CSV file, or grab every table in the database at once as a ready-made .zip archive, one CSV per table.
Tips for working with your database
- For a large table, write a query with
WHEREandLIMITin the SQL console and export only the rows you need. - NULL values are written as empty cells in the CSV, not the word "NULL", so spreadsheet apps read them correctly.
- Column names are taken directly from the table, including spaces or special characters, and become the CSV header row.
- Use "Download all tables" when you need a full backup or want to move every table into another tool in one step.
- Query results can be downloaded as CSV too — handy when you only need the output of a JOIN or aggregate query.
Frequently asked questions
Is my database file uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is read and queried entirely in your browser using a SQLite engine. Nothing is sent to a server.
What file types and sizes are supported?
Any standard SQLite database file — .sqlite, .sqlite3 or .db — up to the size limit shown above the upload box.
Can I run INSERT, UPDATE or DELETE queries?
Yes, the SQL console accepts any valid SQLite statement. Changes only affect the copy loaded in your browser's memory — your original file on disk is never modified.
What's the difference between the two download buttons?
"Download this table as CSV" exports just the table you're currently viewing. "Download all tables" packages every table in the database into a single .zip, one CSV file per table.
Can I use JOINs and aggregate functions?
Yes. The console runs full SQL, so JOINs, GROUP BY, COUNT, SUM and other standard SQLite functions all work, and you can export the result as CSV.
