Does it save my list?
Yes. Your list is stored in your browser, so it's still there next time you open this page on the same device. Nothing is sent to a server.
How does the category sorting work?
Each item is matched against common grocery terms — for example "cheddar" lands in Dairy & Eggs, "shrimp" in Meat & Seafood. Anything it doesn't recognize goes into Other so you never lose an item.
Can I add quantities?
Yes — start the item with a number, like "3 apples" or "1 loaf bread", and the quantity shows next to the item.
